Our Program

We are a non-profit volunteer led organization dedicated to providing area youth with the opportunity to learn and play soccer.  We are a recreation club and welcome all levels of skill and experience.   Our goal is to teach kids a wonderful sport with a focus on teamwork and sportsmanship.   We have new and experienced players at all levels.

Our full season runs fall to spring with a break over the winter. We reopen registration for spring for players that missed the fall and still want to play spring.  The registration cost is $65 per child with a family max of $160.  The registration covers your uniform (shirt, shorts, and socks), insurance, and celebration.  The fee is the same whether you register for both fall and spring or just the spring session sessions.  This is due to the costs of everything being the same whether you play one or both sessions.   The equipment the player needs to provide is shoes and shin guards.

Fall practices will start in August with games beginning in early September running through mid October.  Practice schedules are determined by each coach.  Games are scheduled during the week in the evenings and occasionally Saturday mornings. Typically, two games a week per team and we try to follow a M/W/F format for weekday games when possible.   We plan on 12 games per session (weather permitting of course).  We will play in some light rain or inclement weather within reason for the age group.  Many coaches also use Roosevelt for practice, however, they are allowed to use any public green space within Willowick.   We do break for the winter and start up again in the spring.   Usually around mid April (weather permitting) and conclude the first Saturday in June with a celebration and tournaments for U9 & U12.

We are broken up into different divisions based on age.  We offer U4, U6, U9, U12, & U15 divisions.  The U in the division title stands for Under.  For example, the U9 division is for 6,7, and 8 year old players at the time of registration (July 31 cutoff for age determination).

Our  U4, U6, U9, and U12 are in house meaning that they will play other Willowick teams with all games at Roosevelt Park (E 324 st off of  Vine Street & St Mary Magdalene Church) .  They do not travel to other cities.

Our U15 division does travel and play some of our surrounding communities such as Mentor, Eastlake, Euclid, and West G.  U15 plays their home games at Willowick Middle School.
